Instructions

- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas and mix in melted butter. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; stir until well combined.
- Sprinkle in baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; mix gently.
- Fold in the flour along with walnuts or chocolate chips if using, stirring just until no dry flour remains.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
