Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for about 5 minutes until soft.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine light mayo, ketchup, pickle juice, onion powder, and garlic powder to create the special sauce dressing.
  4. In a serving bowl, layer romaine lettuce followed by cooked beef, grape tomatoes, red onion, shredded cheese (if using), and pickles. Drizzle with special sauce before serving.
