Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen broccoli according to package instructions and drain well.
  2. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil, add minute rice, cover, and let sit until fluffy.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked broccoli, prepared rice, drained water chestnuts, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and cubed Velveeta cheese; mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
