- 6 Tbsp. softened butter
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cake flour, corn starch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a stand mixer, cream cubed cold butter until fluffy; gradually add granulated sugar and mix well.
- Beat in eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures until just mixed.
- Press the dough into a rectangle and spread the cinnamon filling evenly over it.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 10-12 pieces.
- Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool and frost with cream cheese mixture.
