Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional garnish: 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
