  4. Roll out the dough into a square, place the butter in the center, fold corners over to seal, and roll into a long rectangle.
  5. Fold the dough like a letter and chill; repeat rolling and folding two more times.
  6. Shape the Danish by cutting squares from rolled dough and adding cream cheese filling. Let rise before baking at 390°F for 15–20 minutes.
