Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm area for about 1-1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into rectangles about ½ inch thick. Sprinkle with cinnamon and roll into logs; cut into pieces.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the buns until golden brown on both sides.
- For the glaze, mix melted butter with powdered sugar, milk, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm buns.
