- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme, divided
- Kosher salt

- 1 teaspoon white balsamic vinegar
- 4 sesame seed buns, diced into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and place diced sesame seed buns on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10 minutes until crispy.
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown ground beef with oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Melt butter in the same pot; sauté onions, carrots, celery, salt, and pepper for about 10 minutes until softened.
- Stir in garlic and remaining herbs; cook for one minute.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables; stir well and cook for one minute.
- Deglaze the pot with a splash of chicken broth; then add the remaining broth and uncooked macaroni.
- Bring to a simmer; reduce heat and cook for 5–7 minutes until pasta is al dente.
- Stir in heavy cream and cheese until melted; mix in cooked ground beef and vinegar.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary before serving topped with croutons and green onions.
