  • 7.5 oz chive & onion cream cheese spread
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 bell pepper stem (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chive & onion spread, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 ¼ cups grated cheddar until smooth.
  2. Lay out cling wrap in a double layer on the counter.
  3. Sprinkle ⅓ cup shredded cheddar on the cling wrap where the bottom of the cheese ball will sit.
  4. Scoop the cheese mixture onto the cheddar and cover with remaining shredded cheddar.
  5. Wrap tightly in cling wrap and shape into a round ball.
  6. Use rubber bands around the wrapped ball to create a pumpkin shape.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours; remove rubber bands afterward.
  8. Top with a bell pepper stem for decoration and serve with crackers or veggies.
