  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1.5 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice apple vinegar
  • 23 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • Sriracha sauce (to taste)
  • Fresh ginger
  • Fresh garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, mix rice flour, cornstarch, garlic powder (if using), and water to form a smooth batter.
  2. Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and bake for about 30 minutes, flipping halfway until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, Sriracha, minced ginger, garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water. Stir until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Toss the baked cauliflower in the sauce until well-coated and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions before serving.
