  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spray a large loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine eggs, bread crumbs, chopped onion, ground beef, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, tomato paste, minced garlic.
  4. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
  6. In a small saucepan, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce over medium heat until thickened.
  7. Pour half of the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Add the remaining sauce and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  9. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
